Satellite Gallery is an offspring of Devonport's and provides a nourishing environment in a refined space for emerging professional artists.
We exhibit a diverse range of contemporary art work and strive to resonate freedom, of expression and appreciation, to artists and their audiences.
Satellite's primary interest is in how it is able to best serve the artist it exhibits and ensure that the benefits procured from the exposure and sale of their work are primarily theirs.
We offer a warm, informative, refined space with a dedication to encouraging the enjoyment of and engagement with the art work we exhibit.
Mark Watts:
Mark is Satellites gallery manager, with a passion for art and a dedication to rising talent, Mark manages Satellite operations and works with artists to bring exhibitions to life.
Nicolas Baxter:
Nicolas Baxter is Satellite’s managing director. He is based at the Depot Artspace and provides guidance and management support to the gallery.
On Saturdays Satellite is staffed by our charming in-house studio tenants; Amy McLennan and digital artist Paula Jones. Their studios are located inside Satellite and their beautiful contemporary work can be viewed here by appointment. Click here to visit our Studio page for more information.
