Leyland Barr presents a collection of African portraits painted in rich colours with captivating realism.

Leyland has painted these portraits as a tribute to those that have endeavoured to permanently record tribes in Africa whose cultures risk being diminished as a result of globalization.

A versatile and talented artist; Leyland has explored various creative avenues and is now focusing on portraiture, which he finds his most compelling challenge.
