“My Trip Through Belmont is an exhibition of a trip I’ve made many times through the Belmont shopping area. Commuting, I get the impression that many people don’t value the shops and their significance to the community.
My paintings celebrate Belmont’s small businesses and products: $10 cuts, Belmont Liquor, and the local bakery. Through my paintings I want to transform the everyday into the extraordinary, something the viewer will finally stop and appreciate.”
